I took this a few days ago. It is the maple tree in my front yard and it is desperately resisting turning colors and losing its leaves. So are many others in this neighborhood. It is an older area with lots and lots of mature trees and they create a sheltered area for themselves. We are having a few cold nights this week, will this tree give in and change to its brilliant fall foliage, or just dump all the leaves at once as they are? It does dump everything almost overnight, but it usually puts on a good display first.
Oh, I hope it puts on a display first and you get pictures! What a beautiful tree. Maples are my favorite trees. :)
